We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team

As an Account Manager at Dow Jones, you’re not just a salesperson; you’re a market disruptor. Your mission? To dominate the German territory. Your arsenal? Unrivaled content and advanced tech. You’ll be on the front line, uncovering new opportunities and nurturing key accounts in Germany. Get ready to wield the power of double-digit growth year after year.

We are one of the market leaders within the Risk Compliance Business. We are also launching a new platform to increase our content capabilities and presence into the “big data” market, one of the hottest topics in the media industry at the moment!

You can either be based in Berlin or Frankfurt and work with a hybrid working model in their centrally located offices as well as home office.

What is the role?

– Amplify revenue in your assigned territory, zeroing in on new business deals as well as upselling and cross selling to existing clients.

– Cultivate robust relationships across accounts, negotiate at senior levels, and drive strategic initiatives.

– Craft tactical proposals and partner with marketing to launch captivating campaigns.

– Keep your finger on the market’s pulse and uncover client insights that steer our strategies.

Your Skills And Qualifications

– 3-4 years of B2B sales experience – your networking skills are legendary.

– You’re an initiator, a rainmaker, and an industry trend connoisseur.

– Familiarity with the online business info world or SaaS is a plus. A background within the on-line business information industry or acquired through a major player within the Risk & Compliance sphere or within the SaaS Industry would be an appropriate profile for this position. Good knowledge of the Financial and Automotive/Chemical markets as a vertical will be a strong plus.

– You thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

– Fluent in both English and German.

– Your bags are packed – this role demands regional travel.
