We are looking for a Fuel Managers to optimize fuel utilization across Adven

Are you ready to fuel your career with purpose and innovation? Join our Fuel unit as a Fuel Manager, where you will be responsible for the procurement and management of biofuels and/or waste and residue fuels. The responsibilities and focus will be tailored based on your expertise and interests.

As a Fuel Manager, you will play a crucial role in the energy supply chain, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable fuel utilization across Adven’s facilities.

Your mission is to create and nurture relationships with fuel suppliers, ensuring a long-term, cost-effective energy supply to Adven’s ever-evolving operations.

Key Responsibilities

Please note that these responsibilities are flexible and can be fine-tuned based on your unique skills and interests. We believe in fostering a collaborative environment where your expertise contributes to shaping your role within Adven.

Fuel Procurement and management (biofuels, residual heat, waste fuels or recovered fuels)
Build and maintain relationships with customers, industrial partners, and distribution networks
Leading fuel planning meetings with business units
Negotiating and establishing agreements with fuel suppliers
Seeking new customers and maintain relationships, including continuous improvements in the way of working
Acting as a customer account manager for waste owners, including planning, delivery, and contract negotiations.
Overseeing the supply of waste to Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plants, ensuring efficient and sustainable utilization
Continuous adaptation of fuel supply to meet organizational needs and contribution to internal process enhancements

What We Are Expecting From You:

Solid experience from procurement/sales of fuel in B2B environment.
Knowledge of the Swedish fuel market
Thrive in an organization with an entrepreneurial spirit
Driven, goal-focused and structured persona
Strength at building good relationships externally with customers and suppliers as well as internally within the organization
Relevant educational background.

Occasional traveling is required for customer meetings and relationship building.
This is a hybrid role in Sweden.
