Summary of role description: Project Management Office (PMO) is a part of Konecranes Port Cranes organization that is responsible for project management of port crane deliveries. PMO develops and provides project management resources to properly assure punctual and on-budget deliveries in line with the quality standards and contractual requirements. PMO implements and harmonizes the best practices in the project management processes across the locations.

Key Responsibilities

To strengthen our PMO team we are seeking to hire a motivated Project Manager to ensure successful management of our diverse customer projects and efficient collaboration between the stakeholders. You will manage customer relationships and secure the project delivery. You will lead activities of the experienced project teams and make sure that projects stay within budget and progress according to the agreed time schedule. You will also be involved in reporting and project documentation. You will report to Manager, YARD Team in BU Port Cranes PMO. This role requires business travel.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to have high motivation and the ability for taking responsibility as well as a leading role in directing activities towards objectives. It's also crucial that you are an analytical, target-oriented and well-organised person who has outstanding communication skills and a customer service mindset. In addition, we expect you to have a technical education and several years of experience in project management, ideally with an international dimension. We highly appreciate a background in machinery, industrial plant or automation projects. Previous experience in the container handling business is also beneficial. You need to be fluent in both written and oral English, other language skills are an asset.
