We are looking for a Internal Auditor to join our team

We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join Kemppi Group Oy as an Internal Auditor. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who possesses a solid foundation in the basics of internal auditing. It is essential that the candidate has the motivation and ability to engage in practical data analytics, including data manipulation and analysis. Additionally, a strong understanding of financial management is required, with at least a grasp of fundamental accounting principles.

Internal Audit is an independent function that reports to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee. The main purpose of the Internal Audit function is to give assurance to the board of Directors concerning the effectiveness of controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Your role as an Internal Auditor will involve working closely with the Head of Internal Audit, as well as conducting internal audits for Kemppi Oy and Kempower Oyj.

Key responsibilities

– Executes internal audit assignments in Finland and subsidiaries abroad according to the annual audit plan.
– Engage in the development of internal audit routines through practical data analytics, including data manipulation and analysis.
– Handles ad hoc assignments as needed.
– Contributes to tracking of the internal audit assignments.
– Evaluates associated financial and operational risks and challenges the organization with the identified risks.
– Provides support and actively participates in internal audit reviews and other special projects.

What we are expecting from you:

– A solid understanding of internal audit principles, even with limited practical experience (1-3 years).
– Practical knowledge of data analysis
– Knowledge of accounting and financial principles
– Strong motivation and the ability to engage in practical data analytics, including data manipulation and analysis.
– Willingness to travel.
– Strong communication skills, including fluency in both written and spoken English, are a must.
– A master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a comparable business-oriented field is desirable.
– Experience in international business and multicultural collaboration.
– Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
