We are looking for a Concept Manager to join our Concept and Project Management

Concept Manager is responsible for creating concepts in new customer cases and development projects. Your primary workplace can be Helsinki, Jyväskylä or Seinäjoki in hybrid model.

– Create concepts for investment decision making and ensure that the strategic targets, profitability criteria and customer needs are met

– Actively co-operate in company level process development with own expertise and know-how so that strategic target to use best practices and integrate company processes in all geographic areas are met

– Ensure that concepts follow company level processes, considering the applicable ethical and environmental obligations in the business

– Develop personal competence so that the latest and most innovative solutions in the field are known and can be implemented if they prove to be relevant to the business strategic goals

– M.S.c in suitable technical field

– Strong process design experience

– Concept or project development experience

– Commercial know-how and customer oriented mind-set

– Negotiation skills and good ability to co-operate

– Excellent Finnish and English language skills, Swedish seen as a benefit

– Professional skills: Process design (such as mass flow and energy calculations, system integration), budgeting calculations, general engineering know-how, project management knowhow, excellent presentation skills

– Knowhow of electric boilers, heat pumps, chiller systems, battery energy systems or water treatment is seen as benefit

What’s the best part about working for Nevel?

I work with a small team of sales managers and concept managers focused on industrial customers and I really appreciate the fact that no two days are alike. What’s the best part about working for Nevel?

I like that I have the opportunity to take part in developing the plants I am responsible for. For example, the Lieksa process has changed in the last year and that change is ongoing. The saw mill in Lieksa now needs more power for their kilns, so we are changing things to be able to get this to them, while investing in a fluegas condenser and heat pumps and making some process changes. I really enjoy the varied work.
