Our career stories

Fredrik Bjöörn, Sales Manager

What’s the best part about working for Nevel?

I work with a small team of sales managers and concept managers focused on industrial customers and I really appreciate the fact that no two days are alike. I really enjoy trying to find solutions to complex energy-related problems together with colleagues and customers – together we have the opportunity to make a big impact on the world. In our work we are always looking for solutions that will lower emissions and consume less energy, and that’s something really close to my heart.

Markku Kiiskinen, Power Plant Manager

What’s the best part about working for Nevel?

I like that I have the opportunity to take part in developing the plants I am responsible for. For example, the Lieksa process has changed in the last year and that change is ongoing. The saw mill in Lieksa now needs more power for their kilns, so we are changing things to be able to get this to them, while investing in a fluegas condenser and heat pumps and making some process changes. I really enjoy the varied work.

We are committed to building a green transition and a climate-positive future where people, communities and businesses can prosper. Sustainability is the key driver for our entire business:

– Co-creating local circular economies
– Drive transformation to carbon neutral production
– Build a high safety culture
– Build a corporate citizenship based on ethics, transparency and compliance

Ready to reach new heights? Let's get there, together.

So, wherever you are on your career path, there has never been a better time to join Nevel.
