Are you ready to fuel your career with purpose and innovation? Adven is on the lookout for an ambitious Fuel Buyer to join our dynamic team.

As a Fuel Buyer at Adven, you’ll be an integral part of our Fuel unit, the powerhouse responsible for energizing all of Adven’s facilities in Sweden. From biofuels to residual heat and waste fuels, your mission is to create and nurture relationships with fuel suppliers, ensuring a long-term, cost-effective energy supply to Adven’s ever-evolving operations.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will actively work with our service team on deploying and fine-tuning new installations. In cooperation with R&D team the new features and tools will be developed to streamline commissioning activities and improve service actions.

Your main tasks will be:

Design, develop, and optimize control systems for active magnetic bearings
Develop control algorithms and implement them using programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink or other relevant software
Perform system tests, diagnostics, and iterative improvements based on data analysis to refine control performance
Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software engineers) to integrate control systems into new and existing equipment
Document control strategies, testing procedures, and system changes while providing training and support to engineering and maintenance teams

What We Are Expecting From You:

Solid experience from procurement/sales of fuel in B2B environment
Knowledge of the Swedish fuel market
Thrive in an organization with an entrepreneurial spirit
Driven, goal-focused and structured persona
Strength at building good relationships externally with customers and suppliers as well as internally within the organization
Relevant educational background

Occasional traveling is required for customer meetings and relationship building.
This is a hybrid role in Sweden (Stockholm, Örebro, Malmö, Norrköping, Sundsvall).
