We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team

As a Business Development Executive you will take a consultative approach to selling our talent management solutions to decision-makers who typically operate in HR in Talent Acquisition and/or Learning & Development roles. You will have the opportunity to offer both customised solutions as well as our comprehensive suite of off-the-shelf SaaS tools to tackle talent challenges that organisations face to succeed in their markets. You are mainly responsible for bringing in new business as well as working with some of our existing clients in Demark. 

This role requires a sales professional, ideally with a few years of experience in selling to HR, who will be comfortable driving talent discussions and collaborating with local and extended teams across Talogy. All so that business opportunities are converted into impactful projects, our clients are happy, and we meet our sales targets.

Your work activities – using a variety of excellent systems to support you – include:

  • Responding to incoming marketing leads as well as proactively reaching out to HR leaders to explore business opportunities 
  • Preparing a new business plan; analysing markets and industries, researching companies and relevant contacts, building target lists, preparing messaging – and then reaching out.
  • Active account management to build long-term, strategic plans helping your clients succeed, sometimes challenging their existing ways of working
  • Working closely with your consulting colleagues and technical solution experts to create assessment and development solutions as well as impactful reporting
  • Crafting relevant, precise pitches & proposals, following up, negotiating, driving deals to a close, and updating your progress in our CRM system Salesforce

Activities will be done in collaboration with your manager, the extended team of sales colleagues and marketing. Depending on your background and preferences, we are open to discuss expanding your role to develop you further. 

  • You are a professional with 2+ years of sales experience and a proven track record of landing new clients and expanding existing ones. You get energy from working closely with clients and solving their challenges.
  • You have a good, general business acumen and understand various industry drivers so that you can add relevance when discussing how talent management solutions can really make a difference for organisations to succeed.
  • You have a structured, consultative selling style, and are preferably experienced in engaging with HR professionals and/or have a good understanding of Talent Management solutions and market trends. In any case we will help you to develop further within our field.
  • You bring energy, passion, great collaboration skills – and the will to succeed. 
  • Proven ability to sell collaboratively with multiple Internal stakeholders.
  • A Master’s level degree or B.Sc. degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluency in both Danish and English languages is required, other languages would be an advantage. 
  • Good IT skills as you will be using several systems to support you.
